| The State Planning Coordinator is committed to ensuring that planning efforts throughout the state are done in a coordinated and effective manner. While the State does complete resource plans on a state level for such broad issues as transportation, watersheds, and wildlife resources, much of the land use planning in the State occurs at the local municipal and county level. The State Planning Coordinator recognizes the local county and municipal governments as having land use planning authority for their jurisdictions. Links to their plans, where available, can be accessed by clicking on the county of interest on the map at left. |
